I needed a battery so I searched the http://www.vtxcafe.com/forums.php site, someone posted that one sign of a good battery is it's weight and recommended the DEKA because it is one pound more than the rest. This battery is more cranking amps, $30 cheaper than my local store and free shipping, although ground shipping was slower than I am used to. I also liked that I did not have to fill the battery with acid, it comes prefilled with some kind of jell. I prefer a sealed battery here in the desert, so I don't have to worry about battery acid overflowing all over my bike.( VTX 1800). I placed my order on a saturday night, on monday afternoon TSB sent me a email that the battery was shipped. Can't beat that!
